Yogurt Whole Wheat Bread / 酸奶麦包


Ingredients / 材料:
  • 300 g Whole wheat flour
  • 300 g All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 40 g Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Coarse salt
  • 420 g 3.5% Plain yoghurt
  • 1 pc Egg
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower seeds (optional)
  • 300克 全麦粉
  • 300克 中筋粉
  • 2小勺 烤粉
  • 1小勺 小苏打
  • 40克 砂糖
  • 1小勺 粗盐
  • 420克 3.5%原味酸奶
  • 1个 鸡蛋
  • 1大勺 葵花籽(可选)

Method / 做法:
  1. Combine the whole-wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda in a mixing bowl. Add in sugar and salt. Mix well. Add egg and yoghurt to the flour mixture and knead. The dough is soft and slightly pasty.
  2. On a floured surface knead the dough until smooth. Form an oval loaf about 2 inches high. With a very sharp knife, make 3 diagonal cuts about 1/3 inch deep across top of the loaf. Lightly press in the sunflower seeds if used.
  3. Bake the bread in the middle of a preheated 200C/400F oven for approx. 40 minutes. Cover the bread with a piece of tin foil to prevent from getting too dark after 25 minutes. Knock on the bottom of the bread with finger, if it sounds hollow, it's done. Let cool on a wire rack.
  1. 全麦粉,中筋粉,烤粉和小苏打混合到搅拌盆里。加入砂糖和粗盐。加入鸡蛋和酸奶搅拌成团。这个面团较为软稠。
  2. 移到洒了薄粉的桌面上,揉搓至匀滑。 整形成2寸左右高度的椭圆形。用利刀在表面斜割3刀,大约1/3寸深度。用手轻轻将葵花籽挤入表面。
  3. 入预热200C/400F烤箱中层烘焙大约40分钟。烤至25分钟左右面包已经上色,可以用锡纸盖住以防颜色过深。用手指敲面包底部,如果听上去中空的,就表示好了。移到钢架上晾凉。
