Quark Bread / 免发酵乳酪餐包


Ingredients / 材料:
  • 300 g All-purpose flour
  • 15 g Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 250 g Quark
  • 50 g Butter
  • 2 tbsp Cold water
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  • 300克 中筋面粉
  • 15克 烤粉
  • 1小勺 盐
  • 1小勺 砂糖
  • 250克 德国夸克鲜乳酪
  • 50克 牛油
  • 2大勺 凉水
  • 1大勺 芝麻

Method / 做法:
  1. In a mixing bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar, add in quark and butter. Knead well. Add 2 tablespoons of water in it Don't add water all at once. Add them half spoon by half spoon, kneading until a dough forms. The dough is soft and slightly pasty.
  2. Roll out the dough and cut into 8 pieces, each about 84 grams. Round up the dough. Flatten the dough with your palm to reach 2cm at height.
  3. Place the dough on a baking tray lined with a baking paper, brush on with some water and slash or cross-hatch the bread with a sharp knife. Spread some sesame seeds on it.
  4. Bake in a preheated 190C/375F oven for 25-30 minutes. Leave the bread in the oven for 5 minutes after the baking time. Take out and spray some water on it and let cool completely.
